This year during Friday classes we have discussed some ‘Music you should know’. Of course you can dance tango without much knowledge of the names of the tango tracks but here are some of the pieces of music that tango dancers will find really useful to be able to identify.

Not all of them are played in milongas as the scope of ‘Argentine Tango’ goes beyond dance nights e.g. film music, concerts, radio shows etc. Of course there are more that you could put in the list and it’s not meant to be definitive!
